Fascia is strong flexible connective tissue that supports muscles, tendons and ligaments. It scars and hardens through bad posture, physical or emotional trauma, resulting in tension/knots and sensitive areas. The technique to release the fascia is slow sustained pressure combined with mobilisation of joints.
Combining massage with MFR can be very effective in releasing tension by allowing the muscle to restore it's natural alignment.
